Tripsst is a social platform where users can discover, book and share experiences through short-form videos.
Context
I joined Tripsst in the first few weeks. Initial deliverables had some differences from the Figma designs, responsive behaviors that needed adjustment, and flows that hadn't been finalized.
Scope of my work
For a period, I coordinated three developers. I reviewed the team's UX/UI and some pull requests, gave feedback on visual details and helped define priorities.
In addition to maintaining and improving the web application, I built flows for access, bookings, payments, management forms, a multimedia player and real-time communication tools. I currently also participate in improving and maintaining both the web application and the app.
Access and account data
I built registration and sign-in, using Auth.js library. The initial sign-up process went from five steps to two. Complementary requirements became associated with the actions that needed them, instead of being requested all at once.
Bookings, payments, and experience management
I developed the date-based booking system with two payment gateways. I also worked on the forms for creating and editing experiences, along with the flows that allow an account to request or manage partner and creator roles.
Real-time communication
I added a media player, chats, and notifications using WebSockets and Server-Sent Events. These tools support interactions that need to update without reloading the page.
Outcome
The work consolidated a more consistent visual and functional foundation while adding key flows for registration, bookings, payments, and content management.
Because this is an active product, the case does not end with a final result: I continue contributing to improvements and maintenance across both the web experience and the app.
