Macroestética was a platform for professionals and businesses in the beauty and aesthetics industry, with tools for administration, training, minisites and live streaming.

Context

I joined as the sole frontend developer when the design was nearly complete. The screens had only been designed for desktop, so I adapted the interface to different screen sizes and defined behaviors that had not been considered in the original designs.

Throughout development, I stayed in close communication with the backend team to integrate the API, request adjustments and address needs that emerged when connecting the interface to the application's actual functionality.

Scope of my work

I built registration and sign-in flows with different steps depending on the user's role, along with dashboards for managing account information, products, categories and other content.

I also worked on purchases, access to training materials and other areas needed to connect the different parts of the application.

Company minisites

Businesses with an active subscription could manage a public minisite from their own dashboard. They could configure products, categories, banners and some visual options related to their brand.

The available content varied according to the subscription plan, maintaining a shared structure while enabling different capabilities for each subscription.

Live streaming

When live streaming became a requirement, I researched different alternatives and compared their capabilities, integration options and costs.

I proposed using Agora after evaluating how it met the system's needs. I also prepared pricing estimates to present the option to the team before moving forward with its integration.

Following that decision, I integrated live broadcasting and viewing into the application.

Project status

The project was paused before all planned stages were completed and it reached production. Several core areas of the system had been developed, including role-based access, administration dashboards, minisites and live streaming integration.
